সুমেরু অঞ্চল বা আর্কটিক (ইংরেজি: Arctic) পৃথিবীর সর্ব উত্তরের অঞ্চলটির নাম। ইংরেজি নামটি এসেছে গ্রিক শব্দ arktos থেকে যার অর্থ " ভালুক"।
সুমেরুর বিপরীতে পৃথিবীর অপর (দক্ষিণতম) প্রান্তে আছে কুমেরু (দক্ষিণ মেরু)।
